Grommet
Grommet styled draperies have eyelets (round holes or grommets) inserted at even spaces at the top of the drapery fabric. Each grommet is individually placed onto the drapery fabric using a specialized grommet tool.
The drapery is hung by inserting the drapery rod through the grommets. The spacing of the grommets allows the drapery to fall naturally into pleats or folds.
Grommets are a design feature and they can be chosen to match the fabric, provide a contrast against the fabric or match with other finishes in the room such as the curtain rods. Finishes include brass, polished brass, antique brass, chrome, satin nickel and black.
